Oh shoot. Just realized that another weekend has passed, and well, it's already past the halfway mark of the holidays. Ugh. The thought of going back to school life is seriously out of context at this point of time.
Now that 14SLC has passed, projects, assignments and council duties are starting to take over. Well, I did manage to get myself into the mood of resuming my SMRP research, but not homework. Really really not in the mood. I guess my holiday schedule is TOTALLY occupied, which effectively means that I don't have any breathing space (well, except for yesterday, to hack my phone, I'll explain later). For those curious my SMRP research is about Mobile Phone Security. But well, I had this sudden thought that my life is so different from that when I was in Sec 3; this year, everything just seems so packed - and I have tried really hard to hide my stress and be happy for most of the time.
I'm currently working on 2 projects simultaneously, the other one being the one submitted for ThinkQuest 2008. Unfortunately we didn't win anything, but for some reason the judges' feedback were all excellent. Now I have to find ways to FURTHER IMPROVE the site. Ugh again. The site is located here. =D =D
I'm starting to implement proposals for the Boarders' Council (Yep, that's HCI Boarding School). The "Digital Council" initiative. Something to make the council gain Internet presence. Involves setting up a website, suggestion board, etc. It's really tedious and tiring as I'm the only person who is capable and willing to become the administrator. But as part as my vision for the council, I really have to keep my promise.
My schedule for the holidays, starting from 15th:
10 - 15: Projects
15: Returning to Singapore (5+ hour bus ride including waiting time, etc.)
16: Art Club Camp
17: Art Club Camp
18: Art Club Camp / Projects
19: Finish Council Website / Projects
20: Prepare materials and resources for Poster Design course.
21: Marvell Outing
22: Pia assignments
On another (positive) note, I managed to upgrade my Sony Ericsson software from K610i to W660i! Which means I basically got Walkman and several other upgrades at zero cost. I successfully installed the "Everchanging" theme too (: Yep, the theme which changes colour during certain times of the day or certain days of the month. Some shots (pardon the poor quality):
