Chinese test (about idioms) was easy! I could possibly garner a full mark if I'm lucky enough. Anyway, I didn't actually do much reading/mugging/memorizing; many of the idioms were already in my mind since primary school. Moreover, there are choices given, so yeah, quite easy I would say.
But unfortunately, I got a B3 for my Higher Chinese common test. I have known for quite some time that I was really really off form for that, but B3; (: Hopefully the weightage on the common test is less, so that I can get an A1 for Higher Chinese this term =D
Alright, other things that happened on Thursday included Singapore's Foreign Minister George Yeo's appearance for the Hwa Chong Lecture 2008. It wasn't really interesting, contrary to what I have expected. The pace and charisma at which he spoke was really different to that of the other Yong Boon. As such, I felt like falling asleep throughout the session, with me asking Jonathan to poke me constantly to keep me awake >< The topic for the Lecture was more of ASEAN-centric rather than centered on Singapore's foreign policy (Well, the Minister wasn't really interested in talking about that, as he said himself). And issues like Pedra Branca/Pulau Batu Puteh, Temasek, etc. were not raised.
Anyway, Thursday's assembly period is supposed to be our class performance session, but since the Minister was there, we were given one more week to re-fine/prepare our performance! YEAH! This time we must really concentrate on doing something with quality. Edwin and I already have in mind what to do for our revised performance. Hopefully we'll do well (:
Friday was just a typical day, nothing much interesting, except during CCA time. I'll explain more later. That's it for now (:
